NZ Evidence and Monitoring Consortium Pilot
To sustain interagency collaboration, alignment to and delivery of the shared national Ecological and Social Outcome monitoring framework, I led the co-design of an Evidence and Monitoring Consortium pilot for FY 24/25, with endorsement and participation from the Chief Science Advisor network.
NZ Biodiversity Outcome Monitoring Framework
Provided consultative planning, co-design, project management and facilitation services for an interagency team of national and international subject matter experts and scientists to establish a NZ biodiversity outcome monitoring framework to support Aotearoa’s UNCBD obligations
Wild Animal Management Monitoring Plan
Working with technical monitoring advisors, helped stand up and lead the initial internal design process at the Department of Conservation to establish the monitoring plan and supporting design-development pathway for the Wild Animal Management Programme.
Fisher Wellbeing
As a Principal Advisor leading work in a contracting team, we designed and delivered Fisheries NZ’s first ‘Fisher Wellbeing Strategy’. This was informed by community piloting, wellbeing sector engagement and foundational research. Securing $4.6 million of COVID response funding to build sector capability and establish a national NGO FirstMate.
Kauri Dieback
Re-established the Behaviour Change workstream, strategy, collaborative mechanisms and capability as the lead of an interagency team. Delivering foundational research, a social marketing framework, forest user personas and an awarded 2018-19 digital campaign with FCB New Zealand.
Student Wellbeing Tool
Led stakeholder analysis, management design and supplier engagement for the Ministry of Education to stand up a project team to develop an ākonga (student) wellbeing tool
